If you have been bitten by a bed bug, you may be experiencing the following symptoms: itching, mild allergic reactions, inflammation and possibly a rash. Here are some simple ways to treat your bites.
Baking Soda
Wash the infected area with soap and water. Combine baking soda and water. This will form a thick paste. Put this paste directly on the bite and allow it to dry. Leave the solution on for an hour then wash it away with water, wipe the area clean and dry it with a cloth.
Anti-itching Creams
Using over-the-counter medications containing pramoxine, diphenhydramine or ibuprofen can help to reduce the inflammation of the bite(s).
Aspirin
You can also crush up aspirin, mix it with water and put the solution on your bite to keep the swelling down.
